Bratislava is the Slovak capital. I visited it several years ago during the spring. The city has a very calm energy and an easy-going flare. It is easy to explore and the air is very clean. In fact, being a rather small city, Bratislava does not have the typical atmosphere of a large European capital. When I saw it, it was modern and fresh, but it still had a strong connection to its past and its values.
