My favorite color has been purple ever since I was a boy. I don’t know why, but I have always been drawn to purple things. All purple hues and forms appeal to me, but the richer, deeper hues especially.
Sometimes, I am obsessed with different colors or color combinations. I’ve found that right now, despite not usually liking the color, I really like lemon green, especially when combined with a deep shade of teal or even blue – I actually bought a travel bag in that combo recently. A while back, I also really liked yellow, especially in large amounts. It seems, for some reason, that I really enjoy bold colors used in analog combinations. Analog color combinations describe a combination of colors that lie close to each other on the color wheel. These are very calming and soft and usually, appear in nature. For example, purple and green or red and orange are examples of such combinations.
I believe that in general, the colors we are drawn to, especially those that change, are really great indicators of how we feel; it says a lot more about our emotions than it does about our personalities.
I believe that at this moment, I am seeking out and learning new ways to be, and bold actions equal bold colors. Thoughts?
