Completed in 2004 in the beautiful Engadin Valley of the Swiss Alps, the Chesa Futura (Romansch for House of the Future) fuses cutting-edge digital design and centuries-old alpine building traditions. Though strikingly modern in form, the structure is framed and clad in timber, one of the region’s oldest and most sustainable materials, combining innovation, precision craftsmanship and long-term durability in a deeply contextual way.
