I am thrilled to announce the opening of my photography exhibition as part of the XIX Edition of the SoNoRo Festival in Cluj-Napoca. The exhibition titled SoNoRo Open House will take place at Casa NUMAÀ from November 13–17, 2024, with the vernissage scheduled for Wednesday, November 13, at 4:00 PM.
This project features a collection of 21 photographs captured during concerts held in schools of Hungarian and Saxon minorities across Transylvania. The images reflect the enthusiasm and joy of children experiencing live classical music, often for the first time, and the transformative impact of these cultural encounters.
During the vernissage, I will present my creative process and share the stories behind these unique moments. The exhibition also emphasizes the importance of making high-quality cultural experiences accessible to children and the vital role of music in education from an early age.
As a graduate of the Cinematography, Photography, and Media program at the Babeș-Bolyai University, I am also very excited to come back to the city after a break of over 12 years.
